Being there at the African Festival really caught my eye that, Africa is not only about the FIFA world cup, but it is all about the fun and joy they give to each other, which makes everyday splendid in our own homes and schools! This is so amazing is because the performances and music just jumped right in to me. There were dancers that were jerking (F.Y.I that means African Hip - Hop) - man, I was sitting watching the dancers next to my mum, she had her camera and we were sitting on the grass and then this guy from the stage just did a back flip in the air! He landed on the grass right in front of me, and I'm thinking crazy hip hop - it was the WOW factor! And there was a band called the Liberators and they were quite good!
I had to help my mum with the display of her sculpture art. We weren't selling them it was just to have a look and just ask Qs (Qs = Questions). Jam packed that is all I have to say! Full of African people from their nations in Africa - it was just amazing (again!).
All the kids were hot running around especially me - I know I do that on my playtime breaks at school. I was playing some soccer with another girl and some boys and some adults too. Well that should be enough info now, maybe just maybe, I might see you next year at the African Festival!
Here are my mum's sculptures I was talking about earlier in my post!
Here are some of my aunties dancing at the African Festival!
Here is a young girl I saw wearing this pin, so I thought I would take a pic of it!
Here is the other half of my mum's sculptures!
I asked these dancers to for a photo, but I just said to them 'can I get a photo?'
(.F..Y.I..I DID NOT ASK THEM TO POSE!)
